Walk 1

Upper Rouken Glen - meet outside the Boathouse Café at 10.30am. Walk round the pond or extend it by going down the glen past the waterfall and then return to the Boathouse Café or to the Garden Centre cafe around 11 - 11.15am.

Walk 2

Linn Park - meet outside The Linn Park gates on Clarkston Road at 10.30am. In the park take a right turn over the bridge and up the loop overlooking the falls. Refreshments at the Derby café around 11 - 11.15am.

Walk 3

James Hamilton Memorial Park, East Kilbride. Meet in cafe car park by the shore of the lake (i.e. as far as the road will allow vehicles to go). Walk round the lake once or twice then return to the cafe for coffee & chat.

Walk 4

Lower Rouken Glen - meet outside the garden centre at 10.30am. Walk round the open park area or down through the glen and then return to the garden centre café around 11 - 11.15am.

Walk 5

Queen’s Park - meet outside Brodie's Bar (formerly Shimla Pinks) at the corner of Balvicar Street and Pollokshaws Road at 10.30am. Walk round the pond or extend it by going up to the flagpole for a view and then to Morrisons cafe in Riverford Road around 11–11.15am.

Walk 6

Barshaw Park - 176A Glasgow Rd, Paisley PA1 3LT. Meet in the carpark inside the park, access from Glasgow Road. Stroll round the pond or visit the Peace Garden, then adjourn to the park cafe for tea and chat at about 11.15.

Walk 7

Eaglesham - meet outside The Wishing Well tearoom at 10.30am. Walk around The Orry or extend it by walking up the Strathaven Road and out in to the country towards the windmills and then return to The Wishing Well around 11 - 11.15am.

Walk 8

Newlands Park – Meet at the park entrance on Kilmarnock Rd/ Beverley Road at 10.30am. In the park take the 1st right up the hill and then down round by the pond. This is a short walk and could be done twice. The Dandelion café is situated in the park behind the tennis courts. Meet there at 11am if not participating in the walk: you can park in Lubnaig Road which has an entrance to the park near the cafe.

Walk 9

Bellahouston Park – meet in the car park (that is the Ski Slope car park) for the House for an Art Lover at 10.30am. After a walk in the park we will return to the House for an Art Lover or to the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice cafe for refreshments at around 11.15am.
