The Enjoy the Arts Group meets once a month to visit galleries, exhibitions, films about artists, concerts, architecture - in fact anything concerned with the arts. Most of our visits take place in the Glasgow area but occasionally we travel to Edinburgh to see special exhibitions at the National Gallery, Holyrood Palace and the Dovecot Studios. We are always open to new ideas and suggestions from members and try to include a stop for coffee or lunch in our visits.
Recent outings have included Glasgow Cathedral, Tutankhamun Exhibition, Paisley Big Art Show, The World of King James IV and I, Glasgow Necropolis, Dressing the Georgians, films about Frida Kahlo, Degas, Van Gogh, Young Picasso, Hunterian Art Gallery and Mackintosh House and the Tramway.
Photos from our fascinating trip to the Ray-Yen Song exhibition at the Tramway in Pollokshields can be seen below.
