Janice MacKenzie-another South Africa highlight, Harold PorterNational Botanical Gardens. The gardens are in a beautiful location with views to the coast and surrounded by mountains. I liked the waterfall and the clearness of the water contrasted with the very coppery looking water due to the Fynbos plants organic compounds 

Janice MacKenzie-Sunset at Porthgain Harbour, Pembrokeshire.  I like the contrast of the colours of the warm sunset to the darkness of the harbour and also the person silhouetted on the slipway 

Janice MacKenzie-This one captures one of the many highlights of my safari trip in South Africa.  Being able to get so close to a baby elephant.

Stuart McColl-The first one was taken outside Bordeaux Opera House which I have find memories of from my first visit to the city some years ago. I love it because of the peculiar way in which the people who were moving appear stationary..but the Opera House because of the angle and perspective of the colonades looks as though it's like a train whizzing away from the viewer and as the sin has just came out after a shower you have the wet and dry...and being just after 5pm there's a mix of tourists and people just out from work...so a lot of contrasts and to be honest..I want to see it on a big screen to feel the scale.

Stuart McColl- The third is (I think) Glasgow's newest mural. Because of scale and playing with the angle and the breach of the rule of thirds...it messes with the eyes and takes a second to make sense of it cos it's not obvious it's a giant mural and again...I want to see it big scale on the screen to see what it feels like.

Stuart McColl-he 2nd is my very good friend Tori who is a very gifted artist and is knowledgeable about art. Not being very fashion conscious, I'm amazed at her incredible dress sense...she throws things together and always looks amazing. This was a sneaky one taken in a small gallery in Tucson in France as she doesn't like having her photo taken especially if asked to pose but I she lets me off if she doesn't know I'm doing it. I had to crop it as I didn't want the viewer to be distracted by the picture ...I wanted HER to be the work of art and leave the mystery of the painting and what she's thinking about it and at the same time show her great sense of style. Just a nice photo of a nice day out with friends at one of my fave french towns ( and amazing tea room and cakes baked by the proprietor.. a very stern Scottish lady!)

Chisholm Macrae - My granddaughter and Hector was taken on phone with no adjustments. 

Chisholm Macrae- The sunset on Paddies Milestones was taken at Troon. I have cropped and adjusted the lighting a bit. 

Chisholm Macrae- the one with the rainbow falls outside the last year remit. It is included because it has a special meaning for me, I was born in the white house just across the bay.

David Cooper- This combines my enjoyment of photographic exhibitions and Stevie Wonder's music. Taken at street level gallery, Glasgow.

David Cooper-A man walking down a lane in the rain with a church tower looming menacingly behind, but it is Malaga during a spring break and the weather was good most of the time. I like the composition of this image.

David Cooper- cycled to the Botanic Gardens on my new bicycle and sat in the sun and had a cup of tea. This was my view as I sat there, a straight forward photo of a simple event. 

Derek Hamilton -A reminder of  better days enjoying the summer. Menton France really enjoyed exploring this old town

Vivienne Christison- Lavender fields in Kinross - can still smell the plants when I look at this photo.

Vivienne Christison- Skye aurora - one of the best auroras I've seen in this country.

Vivienne Christison- Shieldaig (where my parents lived) - with the most unusual sight of clear blue skies.

William Dyer- I was in Govan , for a walkie talkie tour and was lucky to be in the right place at the right moment when the sun burnt through the fog and lit up the top of the bridge, within minutes the fog was gone and everything was as clear as a bell and we had Blue skies.

Vicky Blainey- my favourite flower

Vicky Blainey- Scalloway at the Remembrance Parade. This was attended by members of the Norwegian Navy who have a special connection to Shetland and Scalloway. Scalloway was crucial as a base for the 'Shetland Bus' resistance operations during WW2.

Vicky Blainey- my granddaughter trying on her new jacket. Photos are few and far between as she always just says 'no' to photos.
