Boules or pétanque as it is known in France, is a game where metal balls are thrown to land as near as possible to a target ball - the 'jack' or 'cochonnet'. There are two teams which have one, two or three players.
Beginners are welcome - so come and join in the fun and refreshments afterwards at a local cafe.
