The Friday Bridge group consists of players of mixed ability; including players who are new to the game, improvers who have been learning for 2-4 years, people who have played bridge for several years and a few regular club players. You don’t need a partner as we try to play with different members each week.
We have about 30 regular members of the group plus a few u3a members who play infrequently, however not everyone comes every week, so we usually have 5 or 6 tables, occasionally more.
The results aren’t taken too seriously as it’s more important to play in a relaxed, friendly environment and have fun at the tables and embrace the u3a Motto Learn, Live, Laugh.
